We develop a new sense of life when it comes to uplifting others, and we recognize that we have a great responsibility to contribute to our communities. As lovers of the arts and culture, we felt the need to do something different than the usual music and arts festival. This is where the concept for AFRIKIN came about.
Advances by diasporans are being recognized in business, technology, education, politics the list goes on. Still, the good people of the African diaspora are experiencing the struggles; that should have been a thing of the past. Correction struggles that should have never been experienced in the first place.
As we navigate through the trying times in America and abroad, our hearts and our hopes are being transferred through our efforts to make AFRIKIN an experience that will set a new industry standard and shine a light on a resilient community to be reckoned with. AFRIKIN will highlight the ingenuity, economic, and social opportunity of Africa and the diaspora, making a case, once and for all, that the world would be nothing without Her.
